I got the opportunity to go to Paris with some friends this spring I had never been before and I really wanted to go. At the same time, my husband found out his company was transferring their major operation out of the Atlantic Provinces and he was required to head up their new location. The company would provide all the necessary people to pack and ship our belongings and for the sale of our house. My husband was also being sent on a week plus training course. All I had to do was arrange shelter for my two kitties while all this was happening, and I was off to Paris with my friends for 15 days.
As a result of the trip to Paris and my husband's transfer am now looking into applying to the University of Lethbridge for their 1 semester trip to study fine arts abroad. I earned my BA in art history some time ago, but it doesn't matter, the trip is open to students from any field of study and non-students can also take part. They will be required to register in the course and pay the tuition portion of the trip cost the same as students. You don't even require a background in art or French this course is designed to be very accessible to all, the only requirement is that you are over 18. I really think this might finally happen.
